Argent Games has published Gallium Games’ slice of life romantic drama, Guilded Hearts, on Steam.

We previously wrote about Guilded Hearts when Argent Games held a Kickstarter campaign for funding. After successfully raising enough money, they were able to release the game on Itch.io and, this time around, they have released it on Steam. In Guilded Hearts, you play as Julian, a hopeless romantic who takes university classes online. When he isn’t doing school work or crushing over cute guys, he is going on raids in Lost Heroes, a fantasy MMO, with his guildmates. What initially started out as a hobby will lead him down the road to romance.

The game has four love interests: the arrogant yet handsome Guillermo; Casper, Julian’s extroverted roommate; Archie, the cutie working at the convenience store; and the mysterious guildmate Verdant. The main character is completely customizable down to his name, chat profile icon, eye, hair, skin, and shirt color. Your protagonist's appearance will also be changed in the CGs and character sprites. Since this game features different chat interfaces and styles, you have the option to change the font. You can change the font size and type. An OpenDyslexic font is also available.

All things considered, Julian (name changeable) lives a pretty normal life.

He does online university work, is hopelessly single (but has a habit of crushing on cute boys), and spends most of his free time on a fantasy MMO – Lost Heroes.

Little does he know that Lost Heroes will be what pulls him into a new, budding romance...

Whether he pursues the arrogant pretty boy Guillermo, his charismatic roommate Casper, the coy store clerk Archie, or his mysterious guildmate Verdant, join Julian on an unexpected journey of self-discovery, heartache, and love.

You can purchase Guilded Hearts on sale from Steam for $11.69. After September 25th, the sale will end and the game will return to its original sales price of $12.99.
