Pre-orders have opened for a physical USB release of euphoria, CLOCKUP’s infamous horror visual novel, on MangaGamer.
Euphoria is a well-known nukige, which has been adapted into an anime since its original release. The story centers on Keisuke, five of his classmates, and one teacher, who all awaken in a strange white room. As they notice there seems to be no escape from the room, a disembodied voice suddenly makes an announcement: “The game will now begin.” To play the game, one person is the “Unlocker,” and another person is chosen as the “Keyhole.” The Unlocker and Keyhole must perform a certain act in order to escape the room, with Keisuke having been chosen as the Unlocker, while the rest of the group were chosen as the Keyholes. After hearing these ridiculous rules, one student lashed out at their captors and demanded everyone be set free. Her punishment for defiance was death via electric chair.
While most people screamed at the disgusting sight, Keisuke became aroused by it. He had secret desires to sexually assault and violate women, though he didn’t want anyone else to know about it. Unfortunately for him, Nemu, a second year student, notices this and uses his secret to take advantage of him. Keisuke has no choice but to obey the voice and violate his classmates if he wants to return to a life of normalcy, all with the looming threat of his own twisted desires consuming his better judgment.
This hardcopy release of euphoria includes a reversible case cover and the game on a USB drive, featuring Nemu on the drive and Keisuke’s childhood friend, Kanae, on the cap.
The physical release of Euphoria is up for pre-order on MangaGamer for $44.95 and will be released on June 29th. We've also reviewed Euphoria in the past, if you would like to read more about the game before buying.
