Glory & Miserable Survivors DX, TALCHTLI's survivors game about maidens defending their cities, has been published on Steam by Mango Party.

Glory & Miserable Survivors DX is an action game about fighting back against and surviving an onslaught of an army of monsters. The game’s heroines represent a variety of female warriors dedicated to the defense of their hometowns. Throughout the game, their land is invaded by ferocious monsters, with the player’s task being to help them defend the town and repel the hordes.

There are seven playable characters in the game: a swordsmaiden, an elven archer, a wizard, a kemonomimi martial artist, a ninja, a succubus, and a nun vampire huntress. Each character comes with their own unique attacks and skills, which the players must use while defending themselves on sprawling fields against constantly spawning enemies.

Defeated foes drop experience items and gold which, when collected, can unlock new weapons and upgrades, strengthening the heroine and granting her new ways to attack. If the heroine runs out of health in battle and falls victim to her enemies, she will be abused in a defeat CG, triggering a game over. Any damage taken during the game builds up to this outcome, as the heroine’s armor slowly breaks away, revealing more of her body.

While keeping the heroine safe is a large priority of the game, players also have to keep the heroine’s town safe from danger; any time enemies reach its gates, the town loses health, potentially leading to a game over as well. Allowing a boss enemy to reach the city is an instant loss. To help prevent this outcome, players can use collected gold to erect supportive towers throughout the map, which slows down or damages enemies.

Female heroines shall take on a thousand enemies that dare charge their bases! An adult battle game with unparalleled action! These brazen babes possess the power and skills to a crush anyone who's got the balls to attack. Even in the face of countless enemies, one woman stands strong. Unfortunately, what waits for our courageous heroine is not a glorious victory... but a future of despair.
