Demon’s Maid Luna, TarariLabo's 2D action game about a maid's quest to save a demon lord, is now available for purchase on DLsite.

Demon’s Maid Luna is a sidescrolling beat ’em up about a female servant taking up arms to rescue her kidnapped master. The story begins in the town of Bonia, which made a contract with a demon lord about 200 years ago. In exchange for his protection, the citizens promised their loyalty. Ever since they have been assigned the most beautiful women to serve as the lord’s maids. One such maid, Luna, is loyal and fiercely dedicated to her master. So much so that when he’s kidnapped by other demons, she picks up a sword he once gifted her and rushes after the kidnappers.

The gameplay takes the form of a side-scrolling, 2D beat ‘em up that features several linear levels. Players have to make their way forward by slashing through waves of enemies attacking Luna. Killed enemies provide experience, which can be exchanged to upgrade Luna’s abilities, increase her power or unlock new moves for fearsome combos.

Players can either use a keyboard or a gamepad to play through Demon’s Maid Luna. If they fail by running out of HP, Luna will fall to the ground, with her assailants abusing her now defenseless body. Players have three lives to complete each stage with. Running out of continues leads to an animated CG of the corresponding defeat scene. All of the illustrations can be unlocked by beating the game, without the need to lose fights on purpose.
