The Symbiant, HeartCoreDev's sci-fi visual novel about two men from different planets falling in love, is now available on Steam, GOG, and Itch.io.
The Symbiant is a boys love visual novel developed by HeartCoreDev, the creator of Synthetic Lover. We had previously written about the title when the developer held a Kickstarter campaign for it early last year. The game takes place in the year 5066, where Danya and his alien friend, Juniper, are transporting goods on their spaceship, The Ameretat. The duo ran into some issues during their last transport job and need to fix their ship, but they're completely broke. Out of desperation, they accept a high-paying job that involves transporting a beautiful alien named Brahve. During the night, Danya hears strange noises from Brahve’s room and decides to investigate, wondering what he could be hiding. This chance interaction might just end up connecting the two more than they ever expected.
The game features fully voiced characters, over twenty five CGs and six hours worth of content. While Danya only has one love interest to pursue, there are two routes and four endings to discover through the game. HeartCoreDev also plans to release a DLC expansion, The Symbiant After Stories, later on. This DLC consists of two stories that take place after the endings of the base game: the first story is set in Cayama and the second one in Odaria, the world where Brahve is from. Each story will have new characters, outfits, locations, more lore, and sex scenes between Danya and Brahve.
