Aokana - Four Rhythms Across the Blue - EXTRA2, a continuation of sprite’s visual novel series, has been released on multiple storefronts.

Aokana - Four Rhythms Across the Blue - EXTRA2 returns players into the world of the near future, where antigravity shoes allow people to move in three dimensions. This also led to the emergence of a new sport: Flying Circus. In this aerial-based game, players try to score points by either tagging floating buoys or touching the opponent's back. The story’s protagonist used to be a skilled player of the sport, eventually deciding to become a coach at his new school, guiding a team of young girls to win during the fall tournament.

Months have passed since then, with the summer slowly coming to an end. One of the team’s members, Misaki, feels like she now has to decide how much dedication she wants to invest into the sport and how she'll address the promises she's made. This extra story is a lengthy continuation set past the events of Misaki’s story route, with a hefty focus on exploring the concepts behind the Flying Circus, rivalry, and friendships in the sport.

Aokana - Four Rhythms Across the Blue - EXTRA2 is now available on Steam, JAST USA, FAKKU, and Denpasoft for the promotional price of $22.49 until January 5th, at which point it will cost $24.99. You can also purchase the visual novel on MangaGamer, where it's available for $22.45 and will later cost $24.95. Adult content for the Steam version has to be installed separately, using a free patch available on the publisher's website.
