Sorcerer’s Choice: Angel or Demon, the fantasy boys love visual novel by Varenyett, will be published in the west courtesy of JAST BLUE.

On November 26th, JAST BLUE announced on Twitter that the next boys love game they will be licensing is Varenyett’s visual novel, Sorcerer’s Choice: Angel or Demon (Mahoutsukai to Tenshi to Akuma). This project marks the first time that JAST BLUE will be working with a different developer besides Nitro+CHiRAL. The game features fantastical art by Nishio Tooru and voice acting by the likes of Aoba Nanami, Kyousai Nanoka, and Sawa Manaka. The plot involves a man stuck between heaven and hell, being forced to choose between an angel and a demon.

Deep in the forest, Lucil lived peacefully with his grandfather, a great wizard. That all ended when the witch hunts started, leading to a violent mob arriving, setting the forest ablaze. To save Lucil, his grandfather used his magic to teleport him away from the forest. Still burned and bruised, he arrives at his destination, where he's confronted by two beings: one of them is a being of Light, named Flow, while the other is of the Darkness, named Lobelia. Both men offer to help him, but just whose hand will Lucil accept? What fate awaits him after he makes his choice?
