A college student works with a live-in-tutor after failing his university entry exams in SKSK団’s Gachi-Natsu, a yaoi visual novel now available on Steam.

Gachi-Natsu is a kinetic, slice-of-life visual novel that takes place during the summer break. The game's protagonist, Ryota Hibiki, recently failed the entrance exams at his university of choice back in spring, having been in a slump ever since. Unable to motivate himself to study, he spends his time at work, gym, and by gaming, all the while mourning his inability to get into university and a lack of friends to spend the summer with.

To help him make progress, his mother hires a tutor. Despite being much larger than Ryota, Mr. Atsushi is only a couple of years older, being a student in his 20s himself. Despite his young age, he’s already helped five other people get into the university that Ryota was aiming for. While Atsushi seems like a nice person, his methods are unorthodox: he plans to live with Ryota so that he can be within reach all day.

Since Ryota wasn’t warned of Atsushi’s planned visit, he never prepared any space for him. The two of them start cleaning up the apartment, with the young man doing his best to discreetly hide his gay porn collection. He fails to do so, with Atsushi finding some of his material. To Ryota’s relief, his tutor isn’t opposed to it: he himself finds men attractive, and it doesn’t take long until he starts making advances of his own on Ryota.

Gachi-Natsu features a short, linear story with artwork by Wasp and Japanese voice acting for Atsushi.
