Stella Dream, Winterlook Games' visual novel about humans searching for inhabitable planets to start a colony, is currently in development.
Stellar Dream is being developed by Winterlook Games, the same developers behind the apocalyptic visual novel, S.H.E.L.T.E.R. In the game, you awaken from your pod and find yourself aboard a colony ship. Your superior, General Adam, informs you that they've found a planet that may be a good place to start a human colony, but they lost communication with the scouts sent there. Due to your great language skills, they need you to act as a negotiator and speak with the aliens, so that you can recover the scouts and bring them safely back to the ship. If the aliens are peaceful, you could also try to establish a diplomatic relationship with them.
When you start the game, you can set up your character's stats, with fifteen points that can be put into dexterity, intelligence, charisma, strength, or sexuality. These stats can unlock dialogue options that require a given skill. Stats can be further increased when you spend time doing activities around the ship such as training at the gym, having sex, or working as an MC at the bar.
The game features a daily cycle where characters will have their own schedules and most locations will only be open during the day. You can accept side tasks from people on the ship to earn credits or improve your relationship with them. In the game's current build, tasks consist of going to locations, speaking to people, or increasing certain stats. It's ideal to complete your other tasks or progress as far as you can in them before starting on the main story; if left incomplete, those tasks will be considered a failure.

The player’s task is to bring the scouts home, find a suitable home for the colony and establish diplomatic relations with alien life forms.
