Invade the dreams of beautiful women in Flying Fish’s Dream Hacker, an adult puzzle game published by PlayMeow Games on Steam.
Dream Hacker puts you in the shoes of an ingenious man approaching his thirties. Something of a recluse, he still hadn’t experienced a romantic relationship. His desperation began to fuel his creativity. It led him to developed a device that grants access to the dreams of others by detecting so-called dream signals.
Seeing this as an opportunity, he began looking for dreams of attractive women. However, just seeing someone’s dream isn’t enough to influence it. To do so, he has to crack the signal using his dream machine. Your task throughout the game is to help him in this endeavor by playing through the game’s puzzle levels.
Each stage has purple and yellow blocks spawning over time. By selecting the block and the term that describes it according to the level’s dictionary, you get to break all related blocks. Destroying pink blocks will grant you progress towards the level’s completion, but depletes computing power, which in turn can be restored by destroying yellow blocks. To succeed at a level, you have to properly balance which blocks you destroy. There are five heroines whose dreams you can invade, with a total of 11 Live2D animated scenes to experience throughout the game.
I, Naoto Miyaguchi, a single, straight, neet hacker in my late twenties, had invented an amazing machine, the Dream Machine.
Although it looked worn out like an antique piece of junk in a junkyard, it could receive dream signals and process them to restore the details of the dream worlds, enabling me to observe the dreams of others!
If that was all it could do, that wouldn’t be much use of it. The point was that by deciphering the dream key, it could create an interference signal that affected the dream world, allowing me to interact with the dream world and to actually enter it.
So at the age of 29 but still a virgin, I didn't hesitate to go on this quest to find a beautiful girls’ dreams...
