A naïve girl works to pay off a debt in Aprico Koubou’s Noelle Does Her Best!, an action RPG published by Kagura Games on multiple storefronts.

Noelle Does Her Best! is a fantasy comedy RPG that follows a young country girl. For the longest time, Noelle dreamed of living out on her own in a larger city, finding her quaint countryside boring. She even thinks herself fortunate on one fateful day, when she finds a house being sold for an incredibly low price. She quickly realizes some things are too good to be true; soon after the purchase, she finds that the home is indebted. As the new owner, she’s responsible for its mortgage, with payment due in just a scant ten days.

Playing as Noelle, players have to find a way to collect a million gold before the debt is due. The heroine can partake in a variety of jobs and quests but is limited by a fatigue stat that slowly builds up when working. Performing various jobs grants access to more lucrative, yet more dangerous missions. The game features an action combat system, allowing Noelle to explore dangerous locations and fight monsters roaming them; however, she can only withstand three hits herself, making combat a risky endeavor.

In trying to get out of her troubles, Noelle will get help from Rin and Rimuru, two sisters running the town’s quest shop. Aside from completing typical adventuring quests, Noelle will also have opportunities to offer her body to various men, often earning a good sum in the process.

Noelle has lived out in the sticks all her life, but the frequent monster attacks, lack of shops, and general monotony of village life has her itching to move somewhere with a little more excitement. Just as she's bemoaning her lack of funds, the opportunity she's been searching for hits her... literally! Carried on a breeze, a flyer for a house in Milum Town at a price that's almost too good to be true smacks her right in the face. Though initially wary, she enters MACS Real Estate to inquire about the property and leaves a proud homeowner.

Unfortunately, Noelle's joy is short-lived. Just as she's getting settled, two mean-looking debt collectors barge in and demand she pay off her debt. Confused, her attention is directed to her housing contract, where she learns she's been fooled into taking on the debt of the previous owner! As if that isn't bad enough, she's given a paltry 10 days to pay back the monstrous 1,000,000 gold she owes! Will she be able to cobble together enough money in time, or will the life she's always dreamt of slip through her fingers? No matter what happens, one thing's for certain...

Noelle Does Her Best! is now available on Kagura Games, Steam, GOG, FAKKU!, and Denpasoft for the promotional price of $17.99 until August 21st, at which point it will cost $19.99. Adult content for the Steam and GOG versions of the game will also have to be installed separately, using a patch available on the publisher’s website.
