Take your rightful seat at the demon lord’s throne in Bud of Lupine’s The Triumphant Return of Diabolos, a fantasy RPG now available on multiple storefronts.

The Triumphant Return of Diabolos takes place in a world once ravaged by war. The rise of a demon lord caused great turmoil in the land, forcing humans to come together and set aside their differences. United, they’ve since managed to defeat the great evil and have been persecuting demons ever since.

Eighteen years later, a young man named Rein and his childhood friend, Ciel, are training to become royal knights of the expansionist Cedis Empire. They end up exploring a cave, where Rein runs into a mysterious figure. He then learns his father was the demon lord himself, in turn making Rein the heir to his throne. Upon discovering his lineage, Rein decides to abandon his ambitions as a knight and instead take what’s rightfully his.

The game follows a more traditional RPG formula, featuring exploration, quests, and turn-based combat. Fights use an active time battle system, which leads to a dynamically changing turn order. Players can form a team of up to four characters, with each possessing a unique skill tree. Combined with the gear crafting system, it allows players to adjust their playstyle according to their preference.

Enjoy a complex turn-based combat system with Active Time Battle (ATB). Once your ATB bar is ready, make your choices carefully. Spells are powerful, but require longer casting times, while skills can be unleashed immediately. Also, be wary of the enemy's affinities! Every one of them has elemental weaknesses and resistances that you can use to your advantage.

Journey around the world to secure your newfound position! Grow strong enough to face the challenges ahead! Meet colorful characters and convince them to join your ranks to form a powerful party capable of taking on any foe!

Invest points in each party member's unique skill trees to unlock powerful moves and stat increases. Customize your fighters in any way you want! A nimble archer, an unmovable tank, a powerful mage… There are loads of possibilities! Buy and craft dozens of weapons, armor, and accessories to change the element of your attacks and directly influence your stats. Mix and match your gear strategically to gain an edge in every area.

The Triumphant Return of Diabolos is now available on Kagura Games, Steam, and Denpasoft for the promotional price of $17.99 until June 17th, at which point it will cost $19.99. The game is also available at full price on FAKKU.
