The sequel to Illusion’s iconic sex simulator, HoneySelect2Libido DX, has received an official English release on Steam.

HoneySelect2Libido DX is a sex simulator that sports a vast selection of customization options. It features little story, simply stating that the player made their way to the hotel of desires, where everything is possible. The game’s main appeal comes from its extensive customization options, allowing for the creation of unique male and especially female characters. Players can use a large selection of sliders and settings to shape the heroine’s body and further customize her through an array of clothing and accessories.

Aside from their appearance, players can also assign the heroines unique personalities, each with different voiced dialogue and preferences. The girls will then begin to roam around in the hotel, where they can be interacted with and slowly develop their relationship with the player. Though the game lacks a proper story, it attempts to create a connection between the player and their heroines through several random events that may occur between the characters once hidden requirements are met.

Depending upon her personality, traits and mentality, each heroine will have different sexual preferences, including their own favored and disliked positions. Players can also influence the heroines' attitude through their actions with them: their attitude could potentially shift towards one of favor and enjoyment, darker, unhealthy dependence, or even an emotionless, "broken attitude", with mistreated heroines at risk of leaving the hotel altogether.

The English release of HoneySelect2Libido DX features the base game, which released in Japan on May 29th, 2020, and the expansion from October of that same year. The game has received a very positive review score on Steam, though players have been reporting missing features in this release. The studio mode the series is known for is absent from the English release, while character customization options have been censored, with limits set on the minimal height and breast size of characters.

HoneySelect2Libido DX is now available on Steam for $69.99. Adult content for the game has to be installed separately using a free patch available on the developer’s website.
