Jerez's Arena II, the sequel to Eternal Alice Studio’s original gladiator training RPG, is now available on Steam.
Jerez’s Arena II is an RPG that features a similar premise to the previous game in the series, Jerez’s Arena. The game follows the journey of three characters as they climb the ranks in Jerez’s Arena. Sigrid Echnar, the daughter of the kingdom’s regent, became a gladiator behind her family’s back. Meanwhile, LoWen and Mikado Koharu, a spy and an oni assassin respectively, are infiltrating Jerez Arena as a slave trader and slave on behalf of an enemy country, Cyounichi. Together, the three enter the arena and cooperate with each other to achieve their own goals.
You'll need money and proper training to prepare your slaves for the arena, requiring that you send your slaves on “quests” to earn money. The money you earn can be used to either upgrade facilities or condition your slaves. The more challenging the quest, the more money you'll earn upon its completion. By training and conditioning your slaves, they'll increase their strength and learn new battle skills. When you improve your facilities, the shop will sell stronger skill packets, which can increase your slave’s strength without training them.
The game's arena battles feature turn-based combat where one of your slaves will fight against other fighters for rewards, with your slaves sporting their own fighting styles and skills. Discover your opponent’s weaknesses and create the perfect combination of skills to combat them.
