Animal Herb’s visual novel about a love between a man and an angel, NEKO-MIMI SWEET HOUSEMATES Vol. 1, is now available on Denpasoft and Steam.

NEKO-MIMI SWEET HOUSEMATES Vol. 1 is a newly released slice-of-life visual novel about a wholesome romance between a young man and a cherub. The heroine, Mint, is a clumsy angel-in-training: she initially came down to Earth on an assignment but ended up failing to complete it. Unable to return to heaven, she eventually collapsed from starvation on the side of the road. It's at this moment that the protagonist found her and took her home.

With the protagonist’s help, Mint quickly regained her strength and began repaying her debt by helping around the house — or at least trying to. The two of them quickly hit it off and develop a close bond with each other, beginning their new life together on Earth. As it quickly turns out, life with a cherub is never dull, as more fantastical characters begin entering the protagonist’s life. Mint’s two friends — the half-demon, Lily, and the cherub, Cacao — soon discover her whereabouts. Cacao’s especially concerned since Mint hasn’t returned to heaven for a long time now and finds the protagonist untrustworthy. For Lilith, though, the situation is merely a chance to stave off boredom by teasing the two lovebirds.

NEKO-MIMI SWEET HOUSEMATES Vol. 1 features a linear story available in English, Chinese and Japanese. The game also features character designs by Yano Mitsuki, Live2D animation, and full Japanese voice acting for the three heroines.

After rescuing the Cherubim, Mint, who you find passed out by the side of the road following her exile from Heaven, she moves in with you. Your close friendship naturally blossoms into something more, and she becomes your girlfriend. There's never a dull moment with the cheerful, naively honest, and rambunctious Mint by your side, which is only amplified when Lily, a half-demon and close friend of Mint's, suddenly shows up on your doorstep in all her over-the-top flirtatious glory.

Mint, the Cherubim, is eager to repay you for saving her life after she'd passed out from hunger. Unfortunately, she's pretty clumsy, and no matter what she cooks, it always comes out a charcoal brick. Welcome to your new, honeymoon-esque lovey-dovey life alongside the cat-eared Cherubim, Mint!
