A Clockwork Ley-Line: Daybreak of Remnants Shadow is a direct sequel to A Clockwork Ley-Line: The Borderline of Dusk, taking place at the mystical Libra Lapis Lazuli Private Academy, where the protagonist and his friends work for the Bureau for the Investigation of Special Affairs. The academy is an unusual place, where day and night take place in entirely different worlds. Many mysterious events tend to take place at the academy, with the protagonists dedicating themselves to tackling these mysteries and solving them.

Lately, a visitor from an unknown country, named Adelheid Ritter von Weinberger, has been asking the Bureau for help in finding her grandmother’s keepsake. The team agrees to help, only to encounter yet more strange characters soon after, slowly discovering new clues about the very nature of the night realm.

The sequel to Unison Shift: Blossom's original visual novel features several hours' worth of content with a branching story, unlockable galleries, and full Japanese voice acting for all characters, with the exception of the protagonist.

In the middle of the forest stood, Libra Lapis Lazuli Private Academy. Attached with a tall clock tower, simply isn't just a normal academy.

Follow the story of Koga Michiru as he worked the orders of the Bureau for the Investigation of Special Affairs, or simply called "Bureau", together with his friends as they solve the schools mysteries and problems.

A Clockwork Ley-Line: Daybreak of Remnants Shadow is now available on Steam and Denpasoft for the promotional price of $22.49. This launch discount will last until March 25th, at which point the game will cost $24.99. Additionally, adult content for the Steam version has to be installed separately, using a free 18+ DLC patch.

As the second installment of a visual novel trilogy, the game's story will be continued in the future with the third entry, A Clockwork Ley-Line: Flowers Falling in the Morning Mist. The release date for this installment has yet to be announced.
