The publisher Paradise Project will no longer be selling some eroge titles by Dieselmine, ONEONE1, or 深爪貴族.
One of SakuraGame's imprint publishers, Paradise Project, has discussed with the developers of the games they published and they have agreed to discontinue the purchase of select titles. These titles include ONEONE1’s Dark Elf and The Heiress, 深爪貴族’s King Exit, and lastly, Dieselmine’s Elise the Devil, Otaku’s Fantasy, Otaku’s Fantasy 2, and Material Girl. If you already own the game, you will not lose access to it. As of right now, none of these games are available for purchase anymore and each of the store pages have the same announcement.
After discussion, the developer and we, the publisher of this product has reached an agreement to stop the distribution of the game on Steam.
We apologize for the inconvenience this may caused and would like to continue to offer support for those who've already purchased the game.
Thank you for your love and support.
Paradise Project gave no reason as to why they stopped selling these games or what they discussed with the developers, but 深爪貴族 made a post regarding the situation on Steam. They stated that this happened because of the publisher's "change in corporate policy" and "team dissolution."
The translated version of KingExit, which was available on Steam
KingExit, the translated version of KingExit that was distributed on Steam, will no longer be distributed due to the publisher's reasons.
The reason is "change in corporate policy" and "team dissolution".
The time frame is February this year.
This means that KingExit's Steam distribution will soon be stopped.
I'm in a bit of a panic over this sudden decision.
The following is a summary of the current situation.
We can't transfer the store page.
The publisher has no data left, so the game data cannot be reused.
Since the game was registered as an R18 title, it may be difficult to distribute it on Steam again.
We're trying to find a new way to deliver it overseas.
We are looking for a new way to deliver the game overseas, but there will be a gap in KingExit's overseas distribution for a while, at least from March.
