The story of Stealing a Monster Girl Harem begins with a country town being attacked by an army of monster girl warriors. Kozo, one of the townspeople and the game's protagonist, was being chased by one of the monster girls, Mea. Kozo had managed to dodge the magical explosions cast by the frightening, yet sexy monster girl. Unfortunately, one of Mea’s attacks caused a cave system to collapse, resulting in Kozo falling down into an unexplored cavern. As luck would have it, the spot where he landed exposed the legendary treasure of the Master Thief, The Silver Rat. The treasure grants its owner with The Silver Rat’s skills of thievery.

When he encounters Mea again, Kozo is able to seduce her with his newly obtained skills, turning his fortunes around. He concocted a plan to steal the loyalty and virginity of the monster girl army, converting them into his own personal harem. Though they're formidable warriors with great powers, with the power of The Silver Rat, anything Kozu desires can be his.
