Explore maze-like dungeons in Circle Meimitei’s Dungeon Town, an RPG now available on Kagura Games and Steam.
Dungeon Town is an RPG dungeon crawler that follows the adventures of a once-renowned hero named Zeno. When a cave leading to the demon world opened near the peaceful village of Famos, a succubus promptly made her way to the settlement, eager to pray on its inhabitants. Hearing word of the evildoer, Zeno embarked on a quest to banish it back to its foul world. Unexpectedly, though, he lost his fight against the demoness, who used her powers to weaken Zeno back to level one.
What’s worse, losing his levels meant literally losing the experiences associated with them, leading Zeno to suffer from amnesia. Given that Famos Village is still in danger, Zeno has little time to bemoan his unfortunate fate. With the help of his female companions, he makes way for the village outskirts to regain his former powers and eventually stop the demons from preying upon the town.
As with most dungeon crawlers, Circle Meimitei’s Dungeon Town features maze-like levels to explore in search of treasures and combat encounters. Each dungeon is inhabited by monsters that will roam its halls at the same pace as the player, leading to a turn-based combat encounter if they catch up to Zeno. During fights, the protagonist can use a number of weapons or skills in his possession to dispatch foes and will also gain additional aid from his chosen companion.
In-between adventurous escapades, Zeno can relax at the town, where he can stock up on new items, redistribute his stat points, or change his class. New playable classes and party companions unlock with the progress of the main story and completion of the game's numerous side quests.
Dungeon Town is now available on Steam and Kagura Games for the promotional price of $17.99 until October 1st, at which point it will cost $19.99. Adult content for the Steam version of the game has to be installed separately, using a free patch available on Kagura Games’ website.
