Video game publisher NekoNyan has released an update detailing the progress of their ongoing and upcoming projects.

Publisher NekoNyan has published an official, 2-part update detailing the progress on their currently ongoing projects, as well as plans for future publishing.

In their first major announcement, NekoNyan revealed that Dracu Riot will receive a full HD remaster available in both Japanese and English. Featuring a romantic story about a young man who’s turned into a vampire during a vacation trip, Dracu Riot had a tumultuous path towards its western release. The localization work was first handled by Sekai Project until NekoNyan took over the project last year. The visual novel will now be remade using the Unity engine and include features common to modern Yuzusoft projects. The remaster will be handled by the team currently working on the port of Clover Days, after they finish their current project. You can find out more and follow the development on Dracu Riot's promotional website.

The first new project listed off by NekoNyan is Asa Projects' Koikari: Love for Hire. This comedic visual novel follows a young man who’s dedicated his life to providing for his little sister. Desperate for money, the protagonist signs up for work on a suspicious website offering human rental positions. Soon after, he begins receiving requests from various girls to pretend to be their friend, boyfriend, or brother. The translation of Koikari: Love for Hire is nearing completion, with the final release featuring uncensored artwork. You can find out more about Koikari: Love for Hire on the project's official website.

For their second project, NekoNyan has announced a localization for Yuzusoft’s latest title, Cafe Stella and the Reapers’ Butterflies. This slice-of-life visual novel follows Takamine Kousei, a young man who tragically died in an accident, only to wake up on the morning of his death. Trapped within a time loop, Kousei searches a way to prevent his demise until he meets the grim reaper herself. She informs him that he’s not in the clear yet, and has to help her if he truly wishes to change his fate. The task she imparts upon him is, as the title suggests, to help her run a café. Cafe Stella and the Reapers’ Butterflies is currently halfway through the translation and editing process. You can read more about it on the promotional website.

NekoNyan’s next announcement is SMEE project’s Sugar Style. The visual novel follows the love life of Oribe Kazuki, a young man who enrolls at a local specialty school recommended to him by his relatives. While there, it turns out he’s the only male assigned to an all-female dorm, quickly making the women there suspicious of him. Despite this turn of events, Kazuki is not deterred and plans to use this opportunity to find his soulmate. Sugar Style is now fully translated and edited, having nearly finished going through QA, and will feature uncensored artwork on release. You can read more about it here.

The second part of the announcements opens with Laplacian’s The Future Radio and the Artificial Pigeons. Originally worked on by Sol Press, the localization is now being handled by NekoNyan. The visual novel is already fully translated and well into its editing process, as well as being ported to the Unity engine. Like many of the other announced projects, The Future Radio and the Artificial Pigeons will feature uncensored artwork. You can read more about the project here.

A unique tale in which the artificial pigeons were initially created as a worldwide wireless network that covers the entire globe.

But one day, they turned and began to eat the same airwaves they were meant to carry.

They feast on radio waves, breeding uncontrollably until they're the only birds left in the sky. You follow the story of Sora, a young tinkerer working on a new type of radio to regain the sky for humanity.

Next, there's the announcement of Purple Software’s Aoi Tori. This project is less than halfway translated, but efforts are being made to port the visual novel to Unity, as well as to provide uncensored art in the adult release of the localization. You can find out more about Aoi Tori here.

The main character is a priest, the only male allowed at an all-girls boarding school. He also has a special power that lets him bring bliss to those he touches, and that power is amplified if the contact is sexual in nature- resulting in the students of the school often coming to him for “guidance”...

Follow along with Ritsu as the story progresses, with him unable to leave the school grounds due to the demons outside who lust after him. We hope you’re looking forward to one of Purple’s best titles!

Finally, NekoNyan ended their announcements with reminders about the upcoming fandiscs, with Kinkoi Fandisc, Golden Time! and Making*Lovers Flirty Dirty After Story being made available in the future.

You can read the original announcements on NekoNyan's website, with the first part of the villain being available here and the second part here.
