Putting the D in the double D.

Apple_Rooftop’s sidescrolling 2D shooter, Flying Ace of the Monmusu Park, is now available in English on DLsite.

Flying Ace of the Monmusu Park is the sequel to Welcome to the Monmusu Park. While the first game was a dungeon-crawling RPG where you battle monster girls, its sequel is a 2D shooter that requires you to ride a sentient carrot and shoot the monster girls.

You play as Alice, a bunny girl who also appeared in the previous game. While she was setting up for a party, she heard a loud crash across the room. A huge part of the wall was gone, and, as she was looking around, she found a strange carrot buried in the ground. After digging it out, the carrot introduces himself as Butler Carrot. The introductions were cut short when three succubi also arrive, informing Alice that they were being invaded by pirates. With the help of a newfound ally in Butler Carrot, Alice will battle the naughty pirates and make sure they face punishment.

Alice will ride on Butler Carrot through the sky while she shoots carrots at the enemies trying to attack her. At first, you can only shoot one carrot at a time, but once you obtain more star power from enemies, you will be able to spread three carrots in different directions at the same time. Flying Ace of the Monmusu Park features a health system, where you can collect hearts from enemies to replenish your health. As you progress, Alice’s health can also be increased if she collects a large heart. Since the screen auto-scrolls, these large hearts can be easily missed. Additionally, here are four difficulty levels in the game, easy, normal, hard, and sadistic. Once you choose a difficulty, you can change it again in the options if you wish to.

At the end of each stage, you will encounter a boss, with the game featuring ten stages and ten bosses in total. Fight against the boss in a shooting battle and shoot off her clothes to beat her. Once she’s captured, Butler Carrot can punish her in multiple ways, with the player being able to choose how they would like to punish their captive pirate girls.

You can buy the English version of Flying Ace of the Monmusu Park on DLsite for $22.06. There is also a demo available in case you want to try the game out for yourself. Make sure you have a Japanese language pack on your PC and your system locale set to Japanese. You can learn more about this on DLsite’s help page.
