Mister Versatile: A Gay Superhero Visual Novel has been developed by Y Press Games and Studio Kosen. The story’s protagonist is the titular Mister Versatile, a hero who lacks supernatural powers, but makes up for it with an insane amount of wealth, a talented engineer in his staff, and his personal ability to adapt to any situation, earning him his nickname. By nature, Mister Versatile is a lone wolf. Despite the fact that lone heroes don't last long in the industry, he sees partners as bothersome. His opinions begin to change after his nemesis, the villain Driller, breaks into his hideout and assaults him.

Luckily for Mister Versatile, four other superheroes have been vying for his attention. For some time now he had a romantic relationship with the godlike Captain Crush. Additionally, he has aided him in missions, which began rumors about their partnership. A young man named Jake is being bothered by a rather perverse symbiote, known as Lascivion, living in his body and asked Mister Versatile for help. They've become acquainted since then, and Jake would likely offer him his aid. Finally, just this morning, he has met the upstart hero Chihuahua, who's also one of his greatest fans.

Throughout the story of Mister Versatile: A Gay Superhero Visual Novel, you will get to spend time with the four superheroes, villain Driller, and Mister Versatile's trusty engineer Syd. You will be able to steer how their relationship with Mister Versatile develops, and who becomes his eventual partner. The visual novel features four routes, twelve endings, hundreds of CGs with animated sequences, and partial voice acting. Some sexually explicit scenes feature dubious consent between participants, in which case the player is given a dialogue choice allowing them to prevent the incident from happening, if they'd rather not experience it.
