Room No. 9, Parade’s BL visual novel about two boys trapped in a behavioral analysis experiment, is now available on MangaGamer and Steam.
Room No. 9 follows Daichi Kobayashi and Seiji Azuma, two college students going on a trip to Okinawa. After Daichi was cheated on and dumped by his girlfriend, he decides to take his best friend, Seiji, with him on a ten-day trip to forget his broken relationship. While they were leaving the airport by bus, they somehow woke up in an unfamiliar room. They don’t have any recollection of how they got there, but the locked doors and monitors disguised as windows give them more than enough reason to worry. The feeling of dread sank in when they found a monitor with an ominous message, stating “You have been selected to participate in a behavioral analysis experiment.”
If Daichi and Seiji want to escape the room in ten days, they have to follow the instructions that the monitor gives them and make a cruel decision. Either Seichi will have to physically harm Daichi or Daichi will have to violate Seiji sexually. Even though they’ve been friends since middle school, are Seiji and Daichi able to go through such extreme situations with their friendship still intact?
Room No. 9 has multiple options present to adjust what's displayed in the game. Things you can alter include tamer elements, such as whether you want your guys to wear glasses or have body hair, whereas the others involve more extreme content, such as gore and scat. You have the option to turn off certain visual depictions.
You can buy Room No. 9 on sale at MangaGamer for $26.95 and Steam for $26.99. After August 13th, the sale on steam will end and the price will increase back up to $29.99. You can learn more about the type of content in the game from MangaGamer's blog post.
