AI＊Shoujo is a survival simulator taking place on a lush, deserted island. Your goal is to scavenge the island for resources, such as food and building materials, and take care of other people living there with you.

Gathered resources can be used to construct buildings and decorations that can be placed in the player’s camp, using the scene editor. NPCs inhabiting the island can be customized using AI＊Shoujo's robust character editor. Once introduced to the island, they will interact with it, relaxing in their free time, but also help out in maintaining the community by doing simple work, such as watering the player’s farms.

Each girl living on the island has her own personality, and can be interacted with using a vast dialogue tree. Spending time with the girls and taking care of them will deepen their relationship with the player. Once a girl’s feelings are strong enough, she will accept requests for sexual interactions. The player can choose to play as either a man, woman, or a futanari; however, other inhabitants of the island are limited to being female androids.
