Going in dry

Circle Tistrya has released their new revenge-themed RPG, I'll Put You in Debt, on English DLsite.

I'll Put You in Debt takes place in a medieval fantasy world, where royalty often marries solely for potential gain. A man called Arc soon discovers this truth, as right after his family loses their fortune, his long-time love Luciera breaks up with him, swiftly finding another rich and handsome replacement. Pretending to accept his fate, Arc decides to take revenge on Luciera, by driving her to debt and defilement.

Arc’s manipulations will lead Luciera to being raped and defiled by men and monsters alike. As Luciera loses her inhibitions and becomes poorer, she grows more receptive to eroticism, allowing her to work at a brothel, and as her debt mounts, she may end up as a slave.

Regularly, I'll Put You in Debt will ask you to decide what Arc does, with your goal being to lead Luciera into as much trouble as you can. Events will then play out with simple sprite animations and text dialogue. Occasionally, players will be given control of Arc or Luciera, and allowed to explore an area, but these events serve mainly as an opportunity to save the game.

You can purchase I'll Put You in Debt on DLsite at the promotional price of $10.46, estimated from ¥1144. Once the promotion expires, the game will cost $13.08, estimated from ¥1,430. A demo of the game is available on the store page.

To make sure that the game installs and plays properly, you may have to configure your system to the Japanese locale. DLsite offers a handy guide on how to do so, which is available here.
