Huniepot has uploaded a trailer of HuniePop 2: Double Date, showing off the double date mechanic, new items, and baggage feature.
A gameplay trailer for the long awaited sequel to the sexy match-three game, HuniePop 2: Double Date, is now online and shows new game mechanics and a revamped system.
Unlike in HuniePop, you’re able to date two girls at once. During the puzzle game, you'll switch between the girls, giving gifts and affection to the girl you’re currently focused on. Spending too much time on one girl will make her exhausted, forcing you to switch to the other girl. As you match more tiles, the exhausted girl will regain stamina. You can have three date items prepared for each of the girls you are dating. To prevent confusion, the items you chose for a specific girl will only appear when she is focused on.

One of the new mechanics shown in the trailer are new items and the ability to make smoothies. The smoothies are based off of the date tokens in the game and they can increase the level of a girl’s traits. This allows you to level up her talent, sexuality, flirtation, and more.
The baggage feature during dates will add more challenge to how you date girls. Baggage can affect how a girl reacts to some of the tiles on the board and can change how you play the game. The example in the trailer depicts Lillian’s baggage titled, “The Darkness,” which swaps the effects of the pink passion hearts and the purple broken hearts. This means that you have to match broken hearts to gain passion whenever you are focused on Lillian.
Here's a sneak-peak of what kind of baggage these girls have.
At the moment, there is no exact release date planned for HuniePop 2: Double Date. If you'd like to find out more info on the game itself, including profiles for the girls, you can check out HuniePot's official site . They also have an official Twitter page if you'd like to follow them.
