9-nine-:Episode 2, the second entry in a series of urban fantasy visual novels, has been released on Steam and Denpasoft.

9-nine-:Episode 2 is a sequel to a visual novel set in an academic town, where, following the destruction of a shrine idol, magical artifacts manifested throughout. While each episode of the series is connected with others through plotlines and locations, each episode is an independent story focusing on a different heroine. This time around, the story will focus on the protagonist’s sister, Sora Niimi.

The many-worlds interpretation posits that every random motion produces a novel branching universe. A butterfly flapping its wings rarely means a hurricane across the world, and human choices are no exception—our little everyday choices rarely bring about earth-shattering changes. One night, Kakeru's cheeky little sister Sora asks him to let her stay the night. And from the seemingly inconsequential moment when he caves in and says yes, a new story is born, a hurricane which will upturn both their lives.

9-nine-:Episode 2 is available on Steam and Denpasoft for $17.99, discounted by 10%. When the launch sale ends on August 23rd, the title will return to its full price of $19.99. The Steam version is devoid of adult content, which can be reintroduced by installing a free 18+ DLC from Denpasoft.
