Fan translation team Tsurezurescans is making Tone Works' second game, Hoshi Ori Yume Mirai, more accessible to Western fans.
Hoshi Ori Yume Mirai is a slice of life romance eroge in a school setting. The visual novel follows Hino Ryousuke, a capable young man who returns to his hometown after seven years of absence. There, he transfers into school, reunites with his friends and even makes new ones. Over time, Hino makes friends with many girls, from classmates to club members, and grows empathetic to their lifelong dreams. Wanting to become closer to them, he extends a helping hand, beginning a love story.
Hoshi Ori Yume Mirai is the second visual novel produced by Tone Works. Their first work was Hatsukoi 1/1, a project likewise translated by the Tsurezurescans team. Both novels are considerably lengthy, providing up to fifty hours of reading material.
Tsurezurescan’s translation project for Hoshi Ori Yume Mirai has just reached its first public release state. You can get the patch and additional files directly from their Wordpress. This first patch contains the beginning, common route portion of the game, which amounts to a little over eight percent of the game’s script.
The next patch will include the route for Hino’s childhood friend, Marika, and is already halfway done. In their childhood, Marika would often take days off school due to asthma attacks, and Hino would keep her company. She promised Hino to get rid of her sickness by the time he’s back, and she kept her promise. The team hopes to release Marika’s patch before November 3rd, but it’s not a guarantee.
You can purchase the digital version of Hoshi Ori Yume Mirai from Getchu for ¥8,424.
