A dissatisfied modder replaces collectible telephone cards in Yakuza 0 with more lewdness.
Yakuza 0 is a revered open world action game about two Japanese mafia members doing their best to help their group take control over the most crucial sector of town. The game is known for its densely packed streets of 1988’s Kamurocho, a serious and intriguing storyline, as well as an incredibly comical, over-the top approach to side content.
The game has launched on PC fairly recently to a high acclaim, although it has its issues, with a number of players reporting crashes as of writing. Another of the game’s issues, at least for the LoversLab forums user SepticSpoon, was limited lewdness of the game’s most lewd collectible system.
As Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima explore the streets of Kamurocho and Sōtenbori, they can come across and collect a number of telephone cards advertised with pictures of popular porn actresses. Even with the game’s mature rating, the development studio Sega CS1 has chosen artwork only so spicy.
SepticSpoon has made this card collection noticeably more arousing by replacing the artwork with actual acts of nudity, even using uncensored pictures whenever he found them available.
You can download the mod for yourself from his mod's download page on the LoversLab forum. The installation instructions are supplied there as well. The process will require you to use an injector to insert the new files within the game, replacing the original. While it may sound daunting, it comes down to just pressing a few buttons.
If you need to get Yakuza 0 in the first place, you can buy the game on Steam for $19.99. The game is a prequel to the first Yakuza game, the sequel of which, Yakuza Kiwami, is coming to PC in the future as well.
Of course, you can also get the game for PS4 at the PS Store for $19.99, though you will miss on the modding potential.
