Love In Space has just released their new idol-centric visual novel, Shining Song STARNOVA, on GOG, Denpasoft, Nutaku, JAST USA, and MangaGamer.
If you've ever wanted to play as a producer managing a misfit gang of idol girls, Shining Song STARNOVA puts you in that seat. You are given seven different idols to manage, all of whom would be considered unfit to be an idol. Each of them joining the idol industry with hopes of glamour and glory, they quickly realized the job was not as perfect as advertised. Your job is to help them become a successful unit called "Starnova".
Written as a mix of comedy and drama, you will get to pursue a route with all 7 of the girls as you go through some of the harsher, grittier parts of idol life under the polished surface seen by the public. The game comes fully uncensored, with Japanese voice acting and fully animated H-scenes.
Currently, the standard version of the game is available for download on GOG, Denpasoft, Nutaku, JAST USA, and MangaGamer for $29.99. There is also a limited edition version on GOG, Denpasoft, and MangaGamer for $45.00. The limited edition includes all of the features in the standard game as well as a Vocal Collection DLC and the OST. Both versions are available for download on Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.
If you get the game on GOG and you want to see the 18+ content in the game, then you will have to download the free 18+ DLC from Denpasoft, which can be found here. Despite wanting a Steam release, Love In Space has been told that they are working on features to "give users more control over what they see" and that Love In Space is required to implement those features before release, leaving the Steam version without a release date.
