Lick twice for service

Canadian development circle KS releases Aster, an Asteroids-style shoot’em up, on DLsite.

In Aster, you play as a young spaceship pilot. You get to choose from four distinct models, each visually distinct from one another and starting with a different stat bonus. The game plays similarly to the classic arcade game, Asteroids: Your spaceship is on a flat, top-down plane, not flying in a void of space void of space so much as it slides. Your job is to destroy everything on the screen, which includes asteroids that explode into smaller debris and both aliens and pirates interested in having their way with you.

There is a total of 38 levels in the game, each relatively short. They feature 10 unique enemies with their own game over animations. Enemies can be dispatched by using a base shot, with four available power-ups: beam, grenade, charged shot, and a sword. They can drop from enemies, or be purchased from an in-game shop after levels, where various other upgrades can also be purchased.

Aster features high-quality pixel art, with the sex scenes being available in 100% and 200% zoom levels. Once discovered, they become unlocked in the game’s gallery mode.

You can purchase Aster on DLsite at an estimated price of $7.05, or for 756 JPY. If you're interested, make sure to check out the demo available on the store page, as it contains over 15 levels and five sex scenes.
