MangaGamer has released the next installment in the Detective Masochist series, Detective Masochist 2, for those perverts who like their mystery flicks with a side of auto-erotic asphyxiation.

Detective Masochist 2 follows the same basic premise and visual novel gameplay of the first Detective Masochist. The Detective, our hero, continues trying to solve crimes in his mentor's stead, aiming to become a hardboiled, noir-flick kind of P.I. as he delves down into the deep underbelly of the urban jungle. Unfortunately, he's incompetent as hell, not to mention a raging masochist with a tendency for attracting the craziest, most sadistic chicks who want nothing more than to turn him into their boy-toy. In the city of Kanazawa, our hero is still working tirelessly as a detective to live up to his mentor's teachings.

...But it would be tough to call him hardboiled. In fact, he's as incompetent as ever.

What's more, this dyed-in-the-wool masochist has the uncanny ability to attract hordes of the most sadistic women. His assistant and occasional tormentor Satomi Komatsu is still here to support him along the way.

The two have become wrapped up in a case involving strange rings. One thing led to another, and now whenever Satomi gets excited she transforms into a raging sadist, one that would make any self-respecting masochist's mouth water!

As mentioned before, the detective makes his return accompanied by his faithful assistant Satomi, a competent college student who is our hero's childhood friend. However, Satomi's tender affection is twisted by the sex influence of the mystic rings, which turn her into a massive sex freak dominatrix.

A high statured college student who is as beautiful as she is smart. Childhood friends with our hero, she attempts to look after him despite being shocked at his general uselessness and incompetence. She was wrapped up in a strange case and has suffered some...interesting effects (That is to say, when she gets turned on, her clitoris grows into a penis). Her life with our hero looks like it’s continuing along normally...but could she want something more than just friendship?

In addition, new characters make their appearance in this second installment of the series. Rie, the MILF-y local director of a nearby clinic, is happy to assist our detective but is also a turbo-sadist who specializes in luring young boys into her orbit so she can dominate them.

A beautiful female doctor who works as the director of a nearby clinic. She has a candid disposition, like an older sister. The fact that she has been hired as a director at her young age is proof enough of her skills. There’s no question among herself or others that she’s a total sadist, and she has a bad habit of luring in cute boys to torture and tease.

Then there's Hotaru, a sexy-but-ditzy girl who likes wandering around in cosplay and has a strong, abiding delusion that by acting like a witch and dressing up as one, she'll one day be able to use magic herself, a dream made less unlikely by the existence of the mystic rings.

Her fashion sense more akin to cosplay than regular clothes, this odd girl is a self-proclaimed “witch in training”. Her delusions lead her to believe for certain that one day she will be able to use magic. Though normally innocent, she affects a strange manner of speaking while deeply immersed in her delusions.
