Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses Online, Compile Heart's latest offering in the realm of online RPGs, has now officially hit Steam.

Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses Online is an online JRPG with co-op functions, centered around fast-paced hack and slash combat and deep character customization. It involves the four goddesses of the hit Hyperdimension Neptunia series travelling to an alternate medieval fantasy world inspired by their previous adventures, and sorts the Neptunia girls into 12 unique RPG classes — each with her own playstyle. From the Steam description:

In this hack 'n' slash adventure co-developed with Tamsoft and Compile Heart, everyone's favorite four Goddesses enter an online fantasy game world inspired by... themselves! Choose from 12 characters, each with a unique playstyle to fight in 4-person realtime brawls, unleash devastating Awakening Skills, customize with tons of cosmetic accessories, and even play online with others!

In essence, Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses Online follows the trend of previous Hyperdimension Neptuniaspin-offs. It allows you to choose amongst your favorite Nep waifus, like Uni, Nepgear, or Blanche, dress them up in flashy, revealing outfits, and then command them in intense, fast-paced real-time combat. The key addition in this entry is the online features, allowing co-op dungeon raids for up to four players teaming up in real-time and communicating through in-game chat — much like an MMO.
