Going in dry

A Kickstarter campaign has started for Tamaya Kagiya’s visual novel, Peace of Evil. If they reach $12,000 before March 9th, there will be eroge content.

Peace of Evil is a visual novel dating sim being developed by Tamaya Kagiya. The goal of the Kickstarter campaign is $8,000. Even if the goal is reached before the deadline, there will still be stretch goals that will add bonus content to the game, such as eroge themes.

You play as Aeric, the emperor of Crance, as he plays the role of the seduced or the seducer to his fox concubines. There are factions out to ruin your reputation or earn your favor in order to get what they want. Will Aeric fall to temptation or maintain morality?

Summary

Long after the fall of mankind, in a rich, prosperous land, there lived an emperor. His reign was cruel and cold, but ironically, there was peace. He was just in his judgment, but merciless in his actions. Nobody dared to start a fight in his lands as he cared not of whom he has to punish—those who were against his words would be killed instantly without mercy.

Despite the overall peace, the minority races struggled to survive. The traditionally fierce carnivores dominated the trading and industrial sector, taking control of the mines and ports while the agriculture sector is fully controlled by the tame yet wise herbivores in the less bustling southern lands. In between these two extremes, there were the minorities, consisting of small predators and species that do not belong to either extreme. The foxes, especially—due to being infamous with their heritage as sly and untrustworthy—had it the worst. Not many of the carnivores wanted to trade with them, and the herbivores kept their distances from the foxes, fearing for their safety.

Desiring the comfort of life like other races, the great leaders of the foxes decided to send their vixens to the Great City of Crance, as a gift to the emperor with hope that one of the girls would luck out to be chosen as the emperor’s concubines (or even, mate) and could provide better life for their race. The emperor, after all, has been famed with certain soft spots for his concubines.

Hence, this is the story of seduction between the fox girls and the cold emperor.

There are four girls to romance in Peace of Evil: Lexi, a hardworking princess who is familiar with the common folk; Lia, a cheerful entertainer who was raised in her adoptive father’s bar and brothel; Eirene, the quiet and serious daughter of a lawyer; and Melissa, the leader of a rebellion to take down Aeric. We reached out to the developers personally and learned that if Tamaya Kagiya raises $12,000 for Peace of Evil, there will be H-scenes involving these four girls. The themes involved depend on the girl. Eirene and Lia’s scenes will be vanilla, Lexi’s will involve S&M play, and Melissa’s will deal with rape.

Other goals include an increase in CGs, updated sprites, and bonus scenes. CGs will be updated at $10,000 and sprites will be updated at $14,000. There will be bonus story and CGs for Lexi at $16,000, Lia at $18,000, Eirene at $20,000, and Melissa at $22,000. After the character stretch goals, there will be a summer themed dates with the girls at $30,000 and winter-themed dates at $35,000.
