A PC version of Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 has been released by Koei Tecmo and DMM under a free-to-play model. Now named Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation, the game came out along with a celebratory trailer.
Dead or Alive is a fighting game series known for featuring beautiful girls and revolutionizing breast physics. The popularity of the game’s cast spawned a spin-off series known as Xtreme. In the Dead or Alive Xtreme games, the cast goes on vacation to a tropical island owned by Zack. The girls spend their time relaxing, dating, and playing various sports games like beach volleyball.
The newest game in the series is Dead or Alive Xtreme 3. It originally released for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita in 2016 under with two different subtitles: Fortune and Venus. The newest incarnation of the game, fully named Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation, is the first PC version of the game, and the first title in the spin-off series to make it to PCs. The game has been released under a free-to-play model and is available on the DMM platform.
The most distinguishing feature introduced in Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 is the Owner mode. In the standard girl mode the player can date girls, play sports, and send out gifts. While in owner mode players can passively spend time with the girls, take pictures of them, or watch them play games. If the player manages to make girls satisfied enough with their stay on the island, they can ask them to change outfits.
