Publisher Idea Factory International has announced that Megadimension Neptunia VIIR will be released in North America and Europe in spring 2018.

Megadimension Neptunia VIIR is an enhanced version of Megadimension Neptunia VII, originally released in the West in 2016 for the PlayStation 4 and PC. The new and improved version of the game once again takes the Gamindustri CPUs on a new perilous adventure to battle the interdimensional evil known as the Dark CPU.

Megadimension Neptunia VIIR will feature new and improved graphics supported by a brand new engine, together with a revamped and adjusted RPG battle system. One of the biggest additions to this new version of the title is the addition of PlayStation VR support that will allow you to interact with the Neptunia characters in a virtual reality room. You will be able to have simple one-on-one conversations with the Gamindustri Goddesses as they explore your customizable virtual reality room.

Story

Gamindustri – a world sitting at the convergence of multiple dimensions. Of these existed the Zero Dimension, a world on the brink of collapse.

Zero Dimension’s last guardian, Uzume Tennouboshi, waged a war against a mysterious evil known as the Dark CPU. Her desperate cries for help crossed dimensions and reached Neptune, the CPU of Planeptune, who would leave her world to join the fight.

Their fateful meeting would open the path to a new adventure.

And once their world is saved, they’ll join you in yours!
