Riz, an Undertow.club forum user has uploaded a new nude mod for the MMORPG, Riders of Icarus.
Riders of Icarus is a MMORPG developed by WeMade Entertainment and published by Nexon. The game’s token feature is its focus on mounted aerial combat. Players hunt and tame various steeds — mainly dragons — and fly them to battle against other flying creatures, players, and giant bosses. The game features both a non-target ‘action mode’ combat system and a ‘standard mode’ tab-target option. The game is free to play and can be downloaded from both Steam and its official website.
Riz has created a new mod for the game, revealing both players and the NPCs alike. It features the vanilla body mesh with some fixes that better the appearance of characters’ privates, as well as their nipples. The mod removes visibility of the main part of the swimwear suit for the player and strips off various garment pieces from some NPC characters. The mod in question can be found here.
There have been attempts at creating a nude mod for Riders of Icarus before. Back in June 2016, Underw.club’s own Naduron created a uMod texture replacer that left player characters only in their heels. Unfortunately, that modification had severe compatibility issues between uMod and the game. Most releases of uMod would tank the game’s framerate down to the 5-15fps range.
Please note that modding is not an inherent feature of Riders of Icarus. There have been no official statements about modding from Nexon or the games’ developer WeMade Entertainment. In most cases modifying game files is a bannable offense whenever detected. The games’ publisher Nexon has been known for suspending accounts of mod users in their other games, mainly in Vindictus.
