Visual novel developer D-Ket has launched, and successfully funded, a Kickstarter campaign for their upcoming boys’ love visual novel title Sakura Tempest.
Developer D-Ket has launched a Kickstarter campaign for their first visual novel title Sakura Tempest. The campaign has successfully reached its initial funding goal of $7,877, and as of writing this article is currently at $9,854 in pledges. The campaign will now be looking to fund its stretch goals, which currently include a secret character and a bonus 18+ event. Funding will go towards overall improvements, more songs, and artwork for the title.

You will be playing Shōtarō, an average high school boy who meets lots of new friends, foes and possible lovers at his new school. After completing the prologue you will be able to choose a suitor. Your choices will influence Shōtarō’s high school experience and his personal life!
Follow the main character Shōtarō’s everyday life and meet his friends and possible love interests!

Sakura Tempest takes place in Shōtarō’s first year in highschool.
The player has to guide him through challenges and tests of courage, but also through fun times at the training camp or during summer trips.
You can check out the Kickstarter campaign for Sakura Tempest here . The title is currently slated to release at the end of 2017 for PC and Mac systems. While the title is currently only slated for release in English, the developer is open to translating the title into other languages in the future, and has asked for feedback on the possibility of French and German options. There also is currently no demo available, although D-Ket has stated that they have one currently in the works.
