Compile Heart have just updated the website for Genkai Tokki: Seven Pirates, and has added a number of new details for us to take a look at.
If you’re a fan of the Genkai Tokki series, you’ve probably been paying attention to the developments of the latest game in the series – Seven Pirates. A game all about the high seas, it follows the story of the superbly flat chested Parute and her merry band of buccaneers.
So far we know quite a few things about this upcoming RPG, from its characters to its mechanics, but we’ll always welcome more details as and when they come. Thanks to a recent website update by Compile Heart, we can now bring you some more news. Sit back, grab your ale and check out all the new details below.
Otton Riding (New)
Parute and her crew can hop on board Otton, the team’s helpful monster kid, who will help them reach areas they ordinarily couldn’t. Now we know why he has that look on his face.
MP (Muramara Points) – also known as “horny points” – will accumulate as your character attacks or takes damage. These can be used to trigger skills, similar to special moves in other games.
By using a set amount of your MP, you can enter an “enhanced” state. This will increase your stats, giving you more power in battle.
Additionally, after you’ve gained enough MP, you can choose to spend it to enter an “excited” state. This will give you an even more powerful boost when compared to the “enhanced” state, and you’ll gain various benefits during each turn.
Special Moves (New)
When you enter your “excited” state, you can pull off special moves. These moves can only be achieved in this state, and triggering the special will use up all of your MP.
BP (Binbin Power) – also known as “horny power” – is a state that can only be triggered by Otton. Throughout the game, Otton’s guage will charge based on your commands, so keep an eye on it.
By filling up Otton’s guage, you can release his natural ability in the form of a special move. This move is known as the “Otton Gun”, and will deal a devastating blow.
While on your adventure, you will find strange eggs on monsters. These eggs hide items that may be useful to you on your quest.
Using the previously announced “chest growth” system, the eggs can be cracked open when they interact with the girl’s chests. While they often have items inside, there’s no guarantee you’ll get anything at all. At least it’s an excuse to jiggle some boobs.
That’s all for now, but we’ll bring you more as and when we have it. Compile Heart update their website fairly regularly, so be sure to keep an eye on it for future developments.
