The premiere of To Love-Ru -Trouble- Darkness True Princess is just around the corner. With promotion in full swing, the developer FuRyu has released information about the backstories of some of the game’s heroines and a new gameplay trailer featuring Mea Kurosaki.
Furyu, the developer of the ecchi PlayStation Vita visual novel and dating sim, based on the popular anime and manga series To Love-Ru -Trouble- Darkness, has revealed (via Japanese publication Gamer) new heroine information based on the girl’s pasts. Check out how the girls relate to the protagonist, Rito, by reading Gamer’s translated article below.
FuRyu has released some info on 5 separate backstories for 5 of their heroines in the upcoming November 5th PS Vita release, To LOVE-Ru -Trouble- Darkness True Princess.
Momo Belia Deviluke (CV: Toyosaki Aki)
“If I’d…met Rito-san earlier than Onee-sama…”
Momo is the cause of Rito’s memory loss. Feeling bad, she tries to advance her harem plan while trying to get his memory back. While trying to close the distance between Rito and all these girls, Rito simply asks why she’s doing it. That question revives feelings she’d thought she’d finally locked away.
Nana Astar Deviluke (CV: Itou Kanae)
“Did you remember how you…held me like this before…?”
She senses that the other girls are using Rito’s memory loss as a chance to plot naughty things. Wanting to return to her normal daily life as quickly as possible, she helps Rito recover his memory. Her idea to help him recover is to do things in the present that he did in the past. However, nothing they tried was successful…and after many attempts, they become mixed up with an alien called “Meda Q.”
Kurosaki Mea (CV: Iguchi Yuka)
“Senpai…is it really okay for me to be happy…?”
Looking at the commotion going on around her, Mea senses something great is about to happen. She begins seducing Rito in her wild, otherworldly way. Because of her past, her way of looking at life is much different than Rito’s. She clashes a lot with him, but the long time they spend together makes her start wondering about the feelings she’s really starting to have for him.
Konjiki no Yami (CV: Fukuen Misato)
“At first, I thought of you as nothing more than a target for assassination.”
Under the pretense of “Mikan would worry about you”, she tried to help out in regaining Rito’s memory. Of course, with excellent timing, this is when “that assassin” shows up on Earth, putting them in danger. While protecting Rito during their daily lives, Yami begins to have doubts about her own existence, raised as an assassin.
Kotegawa Yui (CV: Nazuka Kaori)
“Why…why can’t I be honest about how I feel?”
She can’t leave Rito to those indecent other girls! Or at least, that’s what she uses to force her help on Rito. In addition, she wants to try and rid Rito of any indecency while helping him. She’s very conscious of the fact that helping him regain his memory will make them spend more time together…and finds that a part of her is afraid of him actually regaining it.
In addition to the backstories, Furyu has also posted the visual novel gameplay video, with Kurosaki Mea as the focus, on their official YouTube channel. In true To Love-Ru fashion, Rito gets to enjoy plenty of Mea’s butt up close and personal.
