Visual novel developer Argent Games has launched a Kickstarter campaign for their boy’s love visual novel title, Chess of Blades.
Argent Games is looking to raise $13,000 in funding for their newest boy’s love visual novel title Chess of Blades. As of this article, the campaign has currently obtained $1,443 of its funding goal. Stretch goals include musical themes for the main characters, additional 18+ scenes, side-romances with minor characters, an official doujin and dakimura, and physical rewards upgrade.
In Chess of Blades, you step into the shoes of a young nobleman by the name of Rivian. Forced to attend the king’s birthday celebration by his father, Rivian ends up finding himself caught in the middle of a crime when a mysterious murder happens during the celebration. During these events, you can get close to and romance three other male characters.
To find out more information on the sexual content contained in Chess of Blades, we reached out to the developer with some questions. Like most indie visual novels, the developer currently plans to incorporate the adult content into the title by means of an 18+ patch that will be applied to the Steam release. Each main character will have a sex scene towards the end of the game, and each character’s featured sexual content will vary. Arden’s sex scenes will be more geared towards softer lovemaking, Linnaeus’ scenes will center more around wordplay and hatefucking, and Franz will feature BDSM elements. If the campaign reaches $18,000 in funding, each main character will receive an additional sex scene with new CGs.
