Visual novel developer Neoclassic Games has released their title Elisa the Innkeeper on the Steam gaming platform.
After running a successful Kickstarter campaign last year, Neoclassic Games has released their title Elisa the Innkeeper on Steam. While the game is mostly a visual novel, it also incorporates some light RPG elements with over 40 primary and secondary choices that greatly affect the story and characters, items that can unlock new game branches and affect characters fates, a karma system that allows you to align characters as good or bad, and the ability to unlock various personality types for the stories characters depending on how you “shape” their behavior.
On the technical side, Elisa the Innkeeper features five different languages, over 100 artworks and backgrounds, text customization, and a stunning soundtrack. While the game currently only features some ecchi scenes, the developers had previously mentioned in a Kickstarter update last year that a DLC containing more mature content for the game was highly likely due to the high demand and response for it.
For your reading pleasure, below you will find character info, a trailer, sample OST tracks, synopsis, and sample CGs and images from the game:
“If I married all those who said they want me, now I would have so many of those husbands. All men who stay at this inn immediately fall in love with me…” Elisa
Our visual novel tells the story of Elisa, a beautiful owner of an inn, struggling with the amorous proposal of honorable Knights, high born Princes and rich Merchants. It will be the Player to decide Elisa’s fate and his/her choices may even influence her destiny for the better or the worse.
The Player is -not- the protagonist of this story, however. His/Her judgements affect every character and their actions, like a god that watches everything from above.

You can grab Elisa the Innkeeper on Steam here for $9.99. Despite the game being labeled Early Access, it is essentially in its finished/completed form. The reason it is tagged as Early Access is due to the developer planning to add bonus routes and scenes, more languages, and fine tuned tweaks and changes as needed and suggested by players. All release DLC containing content for the game will be released for free.
For those of you on the fence about the story, you can check out the “prequel” of the game for free here. The prequel edition is basically a demo version that contains about 20% of the game’s main story along three main story branches. Elisa the Innkeeper is compatible with PC and Mac systems. In addition to English, the title also contains language options for French, Italian, German, and Russian.
