Mminit’s Lewdest Labyrinth, a creation from Lewdjam 2016, lets players dive into a fantasy dungeon filled with tentacles and spider queens.
Looking for dungeons to explore, filled with mystery and tentacles? Well, I know a game you might be interested in. Lewdest Labyrinth is an English language H-RPG, in which you play as a cute little blond girl, fighting your way through all sorts of baddies.
The game is played in the first-person perspective, and your job is to search for the door to the next level. Along the way, you can use experience points from random encounters to upgrade your character. These random battles make up the heart of the game and are defined by their satisfying cartoon visuals and pretty well put together strategic depth. You switch between different stances (Offense, Defense, Normal, and Lewd), each with their own benefits and weakness. Which stance you pick could turn victories into defeats, and vice versa.
The lewd part of Lewdest Labyrinth comes into play with the lewdpoint mechanic. Using LP, your character has access to a range of special moves. You collect LP either by keeping her in the sexy lewd stance, surviving tentacle rape traps, or the particular sexy machinations of whatever you’re fighting at the time, and it seems like every monster you run into has plans for our heroine. Be warned about accumulating too much LP, though. If your character is too aroused, she can’t fight.
Thankfully, the game doesn’t go into too much detail trying to explain why being turned on lets your character seemingly pull bandages out of her vagina; however, the game doesn’t really have much time for explaining anything. Besides a brief tutorial NPC at the beginning, there is almost no story to speak of. That’s by design too, according to the creator’s Tumblr page.
Despite that, the game has a surprising amount of depth and polish put into its battle systems. This is made all the more astonishing in light of the fact that much of the core game was only created in a few days. The game first appeared as part of a gamejam on the platform itch.io, called LewdJam 2016. Since then, the creator has continued to work on it, and the latest build of Lewdest Labyrinth is as recent as November 27th. You can expect more to come from the game as time goes on.
All in all, Lewdest Labyrinth is a charming little game, and it should do wonders for someone who finished Lightning Warrior Raidy and would like to try an H-game with a similar battle system. I certainly wish the project was a bit more ambitious, but as a small-scale production, it’s a good way to burn an hour or so.
