Putting the "Joy" back in joystick

Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkhuni releases today in North America for the PlayStation Vita. Jump into fast-paced hack-n-slash action by the creators of Senran Kagura.

Rejoice, North Americans. It’s October 11th, which means Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkhuni is now available to you. Cooked up by the Senran Kagura team, Valkyrie Drive promises fast-paced, hack-n-slash action.

Released for the PlayStation Vita, Valkyrie Drive offers 28 story-driven missions, multiple characters and online arena multiplayer.

Best of all however, is the lack of censorship . While this may have lead to certain nations rejecting the game, for the rest of us, it’s all good news. PQube has been on point so far, and for games with exploding clothes, this is definitely what we like to see.

To mark the game’s release, PQube recently uploaded a new trailer to feast on. It focuses on some of the game’s finer points; underwear customization, hands-on “training”, and plenty of sexy bits. Valkyrie Drive makes good use of the Vita’s touch screen, so it’s certainly worth investigating.

If you want to check out Valkyrie Drive for yourself, you have a few options. Players can purchase either a physical copy  or a digital download through the PlayStation Network. If you’re a big fan, you can also find a special, region-free edition via Rice Digital. This version comes with some extra goodies, including a hardcover art book. Better grab them while they’re hot.
