A new free DLC for Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 in collaboration with the Keijo!!!!!!!! franchise has just been released on the PS Store.

Unless you’ve been living off the internet for the past half year, you’re probably very familiar with Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 already (if you’re not, we’ve covered it extensively here). Although, you might well be wondering, “what is this Keijo thing?”

Keijo!!!!!!!!, which goes by the English name Hip Whip Girl, is a manga and soon-to-be-aired anime franchise about the noble sport of swimsuit-clad girls trying to push each other out of a water floating platform using only their butts and boobs — a sport that also happens to be practiced by the DOAX3 crew. Not missing the obvious connection, Koei Tecmo announced the DOAX3 x Keijo!!!!!!!! collaboration during the Dead or Alive Festival 2016 back in July.

The DOAX3 x Keijo!!!!!!!! collaboration takes form in a pair of swimsuits inspired by the official competition swimsuits of the series. These swimsuits are wearable by any of the game characters, and their special characteristic is in their “swimsuit malfunction” feature: instead of a mere loose string or strap slip, the whole swimsuit explodes spectacularly into a cloud of ripped cloth in the same fashion as they do in the manga.

The collaboration DLC is now available free of charge on the PS Store for both the PS4 and PS Vita versions of the game.
