Adult otomege RPG title The Bells Chime for Gold — also known as Kane no Tame ni Kane wa Naru — from Otsusun Club, has received an Indiegogo campaign to localize the game in English.

In addition to being an adult otomege which is a genre that is in desperate need of more titles, The Bells Chime for Gold strays from the usual otome formula of offering you only young, beautiful men, and instead offers the player the choice between five well-seasoned, middle-aged men. It also features a story where the heroine actively goes out to find and purchase a husband. The gameplay involves the heroine, Maria, traversing into dungeons to collect money, herbal ingredients, and treasure. These items are then used to make medicine to sell in order to be able to pay off your chosen hubby’s debt so you two can get married.

The Bells Chime for Gold will be released in both an all-ages edition and an adult version for PC, iOS, and Android. We’re always keeping an eye out for unique, interesting-looking games, and this title fits the bill perfectly. The heroine, Maria is a skilled herbalist. She saved up money in order to get married with her master, but he ended up using the money to marry another woman, dumping the heroine. He went as far as saying: “you can buy a man with the money you earn from your skill.” This helped Maria decide what to do next. “OK. If one can get a man with money, I will buy one and get married!” Five men, who have fallen quite low, are available to her.
