Some new MangaGamer announcements have been made at this year’s Anime Expo. The panel revealed several new releases that will be available in the near future; A Kiss For The Petals – Remembering When We Met!, Himawari -Pebble in the Sky-, Umineko – When They Cry and Beat Blades Hakura.
Originally titled in Japan as Sono Hanabira ni Kuchizuke wo – Deatta Koro no Omoide ni, the game is now being localized for English speaking audiences as “A Kiss for the Petals – Remembering When we Met!” As a non-h side-story, it follows how both St Michael’s girls, Risa and Miya first met. It will detail the trials and tribulations their relationship went through at the beginning, and provides the conclusion to the popular yuri series. Originally a mobile title, it will be getting a PC release soon.
The third announced title is a well-known psychological thriller called Umineko – When They Cry. Umineko is a supernatural thriller that takes place on a small island. The island is home to a wealthy family whose father is not long for this world. The rest of the family comes over to bid farewell. Strange events begin and mysteries are abound! The Steam release of Umineko will feature updated translation with the cooperation of Witch Hunt, new sprite art and all the original music as well! It will also have the option to use the new or old sprites for the game.
The final announcement by MangaGamer is the sole h-game of the four announcements, called Beat Blades: Haruka. As the spiritual successor to Beat Angel Escalayer, it features a lone ninja from the Crescent Moon clan in pursuit of the Noroi Faction. The Noroi seek to resurrect a once great evil that gives them their powers. Beat Blades Haruka is a roleplaying title, where players have 99 days to stop enemy ninjas from invading. Players will train Haruka’s stats to prepare for combat during the day and fight ninjas by night. Should Haruka be overwhelmed by enemies, they will violate her in all sorts of different ways. The game will also feature over 80 high quality adult scenes with voice acting present.
The publication has also confirmed the September 18th release date of Lupiesoft’s adult visual novel In the City of Alabast: The Menagerie on its distribution platform along with the late July release of Sweet Sweat in Summer.
