Yuzusoft’s Noble Works Gets Full Translation Patch

Yuzusoft’s visual novel eroge Noble Works has just received a full translation patch courtesy of  the amateur fan translation group “The Oxford Comma is Superior Subs.”

Originally released in late 2010 by Japanese visual novel maker Yuzusoft, Noble Works is an eroge with a lot similarities to Mark Twain’s original story The Prince and the Pauper. Takumi, the protagonist of Noble Works, finds himself in a situation where he can leave his life of poverty behind by switching places with a person from a rich family that looks exactly like him.

You can find the plot synopsis to Noble Works below (thanks to Hau~ Omochikaeri! blog)

Takumi is a normal guy who barely gets by with part-time jobs. One day, he was asked to attend the prestigious private school Rokuroku Gakuen while impersonating a rich student that looks just like him. Although he was hesitant to accept this strange request, circumstances (mainly financial) compelled him to agree to do it. However, he knows nothing about the celeb world. Will he be able to keep his cover?

If you wish to learn more about the title’s many characters in detail, be sure to also visit the Noble Works’ VNDB entry page and do not forget to check out some CG samples from the censored Japanese original below.

The Oxford Comma is Superior Subs Noble Works patch can be found here, along with installation instructions. If you are having any issues, be also sure to drop the fan translation group a couple of comments in their comment section.

To make your life easier when it comes to acquiring a legal copy of Yuzusoft’s Noble Works, the translation group has written up a short, but handy, guide to acquiring the game through Amazon.

Perhaps the easiest way to purchase a copy of Noble☆Works is through Amazon. Note that Yuzusoft does not have a downloadable version of the game, and it officially ships only within Japan, so you will need to make use of a mail forwarding service or something of that nature, assuming you live outside Japan.
