Now supporting one handed controls

The Muv-Luv Kickstarter crowdfunding venture has been successfully completed. Exactly $1,255,444 has been donated to the project.

The most successful visual novel crowdfunding campaign to date is finally over, and it could not have ended on a more happy note. Over the course of 40 odd days, degica, ixtl and âge’s Muv-Luv Kickstarter has received $1,255,444 in funds, reaching all of its stretch goals and beating the initial crowdfunding goal of $250,000 by a whopping $1 million dollars. It’s no stretch to say that this is the most successful visual novel and eroge localization Kickstarter in history, and it will most likely be a fair while before any other project beats it.

All that fans and newcomers alike will have to do now is wait, as Muv-Luv Extra and Muv-Luv Unlimited are set to be released in March of next year. The premiere of Muv-Luv Alternative will follow a few months after that in August of 2016. Let’s just hope there won’t be any pesky delays getting in the way of the release of this truly epic science-fiction saga.

Before you run outside and set off fireworks in celebration, be sure to watch the video below, in which the lead producer of the Muv-Luv series, Koki Yoshimune, thanks all of the Kickstarter supporters.
