Steam Holds Japanese Indie Games Festival to Celebrate Comiket

Unfortunately no, Valve isn’t holding a real festival for all its otaku users, but it is doing the next best thing. As of today, Steam now has a sale on a whole host of Japanese games.

You know they have the right idea when the URL link ends in “/doujin/”. While you won’t find your favorite Exhentai goodies, you will find a wide choice of games ranging from classics like La Mulana, strategy titles like Unholy Heights, but best of all you will find the sexy titles we talk about here. These titles come in a variety of flavors, but there’s bound to be something on this short list that we can recommend to get your fix.

Nekopara Vol 1. (Review)

Nekopara is an adult visual novel developed by Neko Works and published by Sekai Project. The story follows the adventures of an aspiring chef who moves away from home in order to pursue his dream of opening a store. While he begins unpacking from his journey, he discovers two stowaway nekomusume have come along for the journey. If you’re into cute catgirls, you can pick this up now on Steam for $4.99.

Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae (Review)

Mitsurugi Kumui Hikae is a hack-n-slash anime action game by Zenith Blue, released last year. In the game you take on the role of a young and sexy maiden in a fight to recover a sacred blade. Donned in a small schoolgirl outfit, you must seek out your best friend and end the bad blood between you through means of high octane action. The game functions very much like you would expect for a hack-n-slash, with waves of enemies, bosses and special moves. If you enjoy a quick burst of action by a sword wielding schoolgirl, this game could be for you. It is currently on sale on Steam for $2.99 – quite the steal.
